Recently it has been near impossible to watch the news without hearing something about Egypt. There is a prophecy against Egypt in the book of Isaiah that bears striking similarity:

A common objection to the Christian faith and the existence of God is on the subject of suffering. It is difficult for many to accept the existence of a loving God when there is such incredible suffering evident around the world.
