One of the major theological problems we have at present in western mainstream Christian circles is the inability to reconcile two of the attributes of God – His ‘love’ and ‘wrath’. We often see these as mutually exclusive and conclude that they cannot simultaneously describe the character of God. As a result, churches will speak confidently of God’s love (which it should), but either become shy and awkward about God’s wrath or abandon any discussion of this altogether.

This is not consistent with the teachings of the Bible. God has an array of attributes that describe Him – it is a mistake to elevate any one of these above the… Continue reading

Crop circles may seem like a very unlikely subject of a blog on a website committed to the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ in these last days. However, this is a phenomenon we don’t feel we can ignore as they appear to be impossible to explain and we believe they may be connected to the signs of the end times. Not only do crop circles seemingly appear in a very short duration of time, they are incredibly intricate and complex. Many of them are stunning in appearance and are completed in perfect arrangement within hours which would appear to rule out any possibility of being man-made. Their… Continue reading

Dinosaurs are probably the most common tool used by evolutionists to demonstrate the long-age paradigm of the earth and to discredit the Biblical account of creation. They are a very powerful weapon due to the way dinosaurs captivate the minds of kids and adults alike – they are prominent in films, leisure parks and many other forms of entertainment. We would be very surprised to hear of any mainstream media that does not promote the idea the dinosaurs existed many hundreds of millions of years in the past before dying out 65 million years ago. You would imagine this is proven beyond any doubt given the deeply entrenched certainty that… Continue reading

At the beginning of May we went on a pilgrimage to Israel. This was our third time visiting the Holy Land and we pray for many more because it is such a special place. Not only is there so much Biblical history there but the stage is ready for numerous future Bible prophecies that will happen in an around Israel. Experiencing the land for yourself provides a completely new dimension when reading His Word and helps visualize places with extra context that brings the passages to life.

4 nights in Jerusalem staying at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, then 5 nights in Tiberias staying at the Ron Beach Hotel.… Continue reading

In recent times, the UN has sunk to new depths in their demonization of Israel by passing two new resolutions – they are both so absurd, it’s difficult to know how to comment.

Two months ago, Israel was singled at for women’s rights violations. Surrounded by countries that have discriminatory laws that marginalize women and where ‘honor killings’ are common, the UN singled out Israel as top women’s right violator – no mention at all was made of the many other countries that have a deplorable record when it comes to women’s rights.

If that wasn’t enough, another UN resolution was passed last week that singled Israel out as… Continue reading

We live at a time where the concept of ‘truth’ has been attacked and undermined with political correctness and the pretense of ‘tolerance’. Black and white values are no longer permitted – society prefers everything to be a shade of grey. The idea that something is ‘true’ is usually ridiculed as being narrow-minded and bigoted and this is never more the case than with religious belief. Even when two ideas are mutually exclusive (e.g. Islam saying God has no son versus Christian’s saying Jesus is God’s Son), we are forced to accept there is ‘some’ truth in both – this is clearly absurd as either one is true whilst the… Continue reading

Church worship is one of the most intimate acts that exist between the Christian and the Lord God. We’ve all heard of dour and cold churches where the ‘singing’ of hymns sounds more like a funeral service than the heartfelt praise and adoration to our Creator – however, the reverse of this is also a serious problem…something this blogger describes as “performancism”. He goes on to outline this as being a pretense of worship with, “The worship leader as the performer. The congregation as the audience. The sanctuary as the concert hall.” This is a serious issue and something every Christian should be on guard against and it is… Continue reading
